Has anybody got these grips on their kit and what are they like especially wet/damp?

I've got golfpride multi compounds on my irons but i want to change my driver and 3 wood grips as they're standard titleist ones that don't really feel right.

Any advice useful or not is welcome!

Don't know these grips, however, if you want a change I've always liked the Mizuno M21 grips, great in all weathers and last ages

i had one fitted to my ping g10 earlier on in the season last year and one currently fitted to my 2 iron and i personally don't liek them that much.

the reason i had them fitted was because that was all that was available from the pro at the time.they are similar to golf pride with the dual compound but they look too busy with all the markings etc.

I want one for my driver and wedges...mainly because they look tarty lol

Shop about online, golf direct were selling them for £3.99 each. There's a company on eBay that sells them at £11 for free or best offer, I offered £8 they came back with £9.

I am struggling to find a fitter though as they all only fit their own grips! Stooooopid

How do they feel when wet or damp. I'm not too bothered about looks just wondered if there's a better grip than the mc's at sensible prices.

Do them yourself mate it's very easy.

Search about on you tube loads of vids on there.

Grip, check
Double sided tape, check
Solvent, turps is ideal, check
Tee to plug, check.

Simple as buttering toast.

I'd recommend Lamkin Crossline full cord.

I agree, had my Mizuno irons two years and the grips are still fine. Not keen on the grips on my Titleist driver and wedges though, which seem thin in comparison.

I'm looking to change the grips on my titleist driver and 3wood.

I have Black Widow Edge on my old AP2's.

I chose them because they were the grippiest in the dry. They feel so much softer and tackier than the Tour Velvet I was used to.

However, I was told they're not so good in the wet. Having said that, I use 2 wet weather gloves if it gets that bad and they were ok. Quite slippery on a bare hand though.

I did them myself for the first time, and it's really not difficult. I found the spider logo helped with making sure the middle of the grip wasn't twisted out of line with the top and bottom markings.
