Black widow golf grips

I really really like them. Although I do like the look of the white Tour Wraps... Cheaper than the Multis as well.
Question is, anyone used the tour wraps and are they any good?

I've tried a tour wrap on one of my wedges. Not that keen to be honest, I expected them to be softer and tackier.
I cant find anything better than golf pride V55.

Black Widow, I've never tried as I hate spiders. So not having a spider on my grip.

Sharpro they are cheaper than GP multies for a reason. That reason is they're not as good or hard wearing.

GP tour wrap are terrible in the wet.

Multi compound or Ping ID8 or Lamkin Crossline cords for me. I have Iomic grips on my driver and three wood, not convinced yet.

Cheers mate, I wondered about the tackiness. They look the part but that can often be deceiving. Will stick with the multi's for now.

I use the white Tour wraps on my woods, very nice.
Keep them clean and they stay tacky, bit of fairy and warm water every month and they'll stay white and feel like new.
What impresses me if your playing in the rain, a quick wipe with the towel and the tackyness returns.

i have used the BW tour velvet on a couple of sets and love them. the negative comments above really surprised me, i found them really nice to handle.

Cheers, Naybrains. Think what I will do is put one on my gap wedge that's really needing done and see what it's like, if it's good then I will look at the rest, if not - well no harm, no foul.

Stuck one on my old spare putter (got it at half price) when i thought about putting it back in the bag.

It's the slimiest greasiest grip that has ever been near my clubs.

GP Multi compounds for me too. Would not dream of putting a black widow grip near my woods or irons

You looking at regripping the lot Tony, or just one or two?

Looking to regrip everything except my 3 wood and rescue. They have tour velvets on which are still really tacky. Very impressed with them, but they look boring and I want something for no more than £3 a grip.

Hmm, a tall order. You can get 10 GP Multi Compounds for £39.98 so a little over that target budget at £3.99 each for a better grip and they come in a range of colours if that helps?

Yes and they are GREAT, one wipe with a dam towel and they are back to full tacky grip

I think they're absolute pants in the rain. I had one on my 2 iron for less than 2 weeks before happily taking a Stanley blade too it, now got a perfectly normal Lamkin crossline grip which actually offers grip in all conditions.
