well atleast i think so anyway....

i was watching a x-14 2 iron on ebay which didn't have the best pics.it was in dire need of repair to the shaft and grip but i had a spare s300 shaft which is 1/4 longer so i knew that would be ideal for the 2 iron.the shaft i have also has a brand new golf pride grip so that isn't an issue.

what i did notice on the picture was the ferrule seemed to be missing and the seller said that it was the flash that made it look that way,but i had a feeling he didn't know what he was on about as he's an antique dealer:lol:

anyway ferrules are about £8 off ebay for 8 and i thought after buying the 2 iron it might not be such a great deal.so i contacted callaway and they sent me out ferrules for absolutely nothing:clap:

i also got the 2iron for £7 so thats me now finally got a minted 2 iron for under a tenner,and it also turned out to be the pro series x-14 2 iron.it was advertised as just a steelhead x-14 iron....so i'm chuffed to say the least.

Callaway customer service is spot on you just can't fault them! Nice result from eBay too!!

Must admit Callaways customer service has got me looking at a set of their irons now. Over others.

Just need to make my mind up, between the X22 tour. Or the X22 forged. Leaning towards the forged I think.

I was watching a Casio EX FH 20 on ebay which normally go for between £160-£200.
Again, not a great photo and an almost non existent write up, just said "as new condition"

To be fair, the seller did have 100 % feedback so should be fairly safe.

I watched as the price approached £100, thinking it will jump in a minute. Any minute now it will be £130. Someone will bid £185 probably or maybe it will stop at £150 and someone will get a bargain.
Any minute now and it will jump. Patience. any sec.................

I have X22 tours, really happy with them.

A mate uses graphite callys, had a bit of an issue re bag wear, clubs were out of warranty so he asked if they could be refurbed at costs, Callaway re-shafted the whole set FOC. Now thats customer service!!

I have to say as bad as ebay is getting, there are still occasional items which you come across that are fantastic bargains.
