Best wet/cold weather gloves

Time to invest after another day of having no feelings in my hands, with clubs almost slipping out on full shots.

I’ve tried the fj rain gloves and they’re great in the wet but terrible in the cold. Also tried the rife rain gloves, and the less said about them the better.

I'm thinking the hand warmers that are battery operated are probably the answer. I got in at 2pm and am still suffering with tingling in the hands where they got so cold.

From what I've heard about Macwets they're great for grip in the wet but don't provide any warmth at all.

I have the FJ Wintersof gloves which are nice and warm but not so good in the wet as they just get soaked and become cold.

I'm not sure if there's a good option that does both to be honest.

I use MacWets. If it's wet but not cold they're great. If it's cold but not wet, they're great. If it's cold and wet, like it was here yesterday, they aren't nice at all.
I did the food shop yesterday afternoon at Tesco and bought a pair of F&F waterproof, insulated gloves for a cheap and cheerful £13. I used them this morning. While they are not padded, they are clearly too thick to be serious golf gloves. However, they allowed me to enjoy playing when the temperature with wind chill was -7°c. I played better than yesterday with soaking wet, freezing cold MacWets.

Macwets have 2 options - the climatec ones are meant to be a bit better in the cold. If it's cold and wet, I wear the climatec Macwets but, between shots, I wear a pair of mittens with a disposable hand warmer (Little Hotties etc) in each. For me, that does the job - good grip for the shots and hands keeping warm.
 
How about getting some of the big mittens for inbetween shots?

I have mizuno rain gloves which are brilliant in the wet but don't keep you warm. I've tried warm gloves and i find them too thick. Now I use a regular glove but wear the mittens inbetween. They work well.

Macwets for me.

Had a few pairs of FJ, mizuno and i Think some UA ones.

All of them left my hands wringing wet, cold and like Prunes. Was very uncomfortable

However the macwets I own are the opposite

Hands feel mostly dry and are Therefore slightly warmer.

For 20 quid you can’t go wrong Davy.
 
MacWets are great for grip in the wet but they are very thin and meshy on the back so no good for warmth but defo the best wet glove I’ve tried and I always wear these in the rain for grip.

The fj rain gloves are lovely and warm but too thick and I find they make my bottom hand too strong in the grip.

In the end I bailed on dual gloves and went with mits on these frosty mornings, nice big fluffy ping ones.

Saying that. Those Galvins look better for warmth.

The climate ones aren't meshy.
