Best golf yet last night... playing slightly below my handicap!!!

Managed to get out for 12 holes last night after work and we played some kind of Stableford thing where the winner of each hole gets 4 points, 2nd gets 2 points and loser gets 0 points.

After 12 holes i had 15 points and was only 6 over (gross). Magic. Everything was sweet last night, swinging well, connecting well and feel around the greens was good. Obviously had the odd clanger thrown in there but recovery shots were spot on as well

So... I played slightly below my 23 handicap! It's not my fault they started me of on 25

Only downer of the night was that the loser had to buy the drinks... got to the clubhouse before 9 and the bar was closed!!!!

Well done Slugger , however saying you played 'slightly' below your handicap is a bit of an understatement methinks

You played 2/3 of the course (12h) so 2/3 of your h/c is 15. PLaying to 6 is '9' shots better than h/c , a little better than slightly lol

I've played like this the last few times out and just hope that bringing a wee bit competition into the bounce games can better prepare me for the actual medals
