Best overall for me was Le Tousserok in Mauritius. Langer designed beauty on its own island which you get to by boat - every hole framed with white sand beaches and turquoise sea. Great test of golf and wonderful people.

Best aura - Old Course
Best heathland - Hotchkin, Woodhall Spa
Best links -Carne / Saunton East
Best view - Old Head at Kinsale
Best floodlit - DLF Delhi
Best parkland - Druids Glen
Best to play at for the rest of your life -Celebration (Florida) / Aberdovey

I also love Woburn, Wentworth, Adare Manor, Panther Lake, Lahinch Osprey Ridge, Royal St Davids and on and on and on:)

Marseille ??

Yes, looked it up again, actually called la salette.

I went when LFC played them in the UEFA cup about 10 years ago (they had a young Didier Drogba in their side, wonder what happened to him).

A cracking course, seemingly carved out of a hillside, over ravines, large dips and drops and in great condition.
