Best course in Glasgow area??

Got to arrange a knock as a warm up to a few beers in Glasgow next Thursday evening.

What course would you suggest I look to book up??

Two single figure players and a proper corporate duffer in a 3ball. Budget is probably £80 each or so.

I don't rate Haggs Castle as highly as these two but its also a nice enough track but its a little noisy with the M77 running past a few holes.

Its nice but that website is a complete and utter joke. It is getting upgraded and hopefully we should have a new website within the next couple of months.

The pictures still make it look good. My own place just had their website upgraded and it makes a big difference.

If you can stretch to £95 and fancy a 30 min drive from central Glasgow the you'll do a lot worse than Dundonald.

I can deffo also vouch for East Ren, Pollok and Cathkin - all very good tracks

Haggs is a slog & over-rated

Most over rated track in Renfrewshire by a mile. Whitecraigs and Cathcart Castle are just as good.

I like both of those Craw but wholeheartedly prefer East Ren.....Glasgow isn't stowed out with cracking tracks unfortunately,I always think it's much like Newcastle in that it has many decent tracks but no real crackers.

I'd agree with that. I think Pollok is the best course in Glasgow.

A pal just back from playing it over the weekend said it was in a lovely spot but for him was little different to the usual Thomas fayre i.e. big tees,bunkers,greens etc.
