+1 For Yeovil and Woodbury Acorn course is pretty good......when dry

Without doubt it would be Traigh in the West Highlands. Not because it's a brilliant layout or in fantastic condition but simply for the location overlooking a sandy bay, blue sea and views across to Rum, Eigg and the Cuillin mountains on Skye. Get it on a nice day and I can't think of a better place to play golf.

Haven't played Traigh but I have been there and it is indeed beautiful.
Another one in the same vein is Isle of Harris - stunning location.

Funnily enough I know a guy who visits up near Lochcarron (another great looking course btw though I've not played it) each summer and played in the Harris Open for many years. He really raves about it and I recommended Traigh which he played last year and said "I wasn't that impressed to be honest".....each to their own!! The Isle of Skye at Sconser is a good one as well.
Lochcarron is in a great location but has often been VERY soggy when I've played it. Nice friendly club though. Sconser on Skye is much more consistently playable in my experience. Never played Traigh either even though I've been there many, many times - stunning place.
Stayed in Lochcarron on holiday this summer and although I didn't take my clubs the course looked nice enough if indeed a little wet underfoot.
The midges however would have put me off playing, the place was heaving with them!
Indeed, the one time you're wanting the wind to blow on a golf course!
Midges certainly cut down on slow play !
