I see these guys a lot on American Golf website. Are they actually any good or just a cheap nasty brand?

Whoops. I think Benross and their many followers might be a little disappointed.
They are perfectly good. My pro does Titleist and Benross for our club.

golf does this to people, bigger better car, more elite course, the latest shinys, shoes, clothes or unless you play a certain brand of club, just look at some post's on these pages,WHO SAID snobbery has gone out of the game.It just goes to show that while we all rail against the snobbery of certain types of golf club, we all have an inherent snobbery when it comes to golf equipment![]()

I wouldn't have said snobbery but it is true that in order to get your game to the next level you need to purchase more expensive equipment
It doesn't but how many scratch players would be playing off scratch if they had those cheap Dunlop clubs to play with and a rock of a ball?Rubbish. Expensive doesn't necessarily mean better.

Dunno.
Our lowest player (club champ/gross) does a tasty line in £9.99 hybrids. He does however insist on Pro-V for proper games. Otherwise I do believe he uses Nike PD soft.
