Belfry outing - final call!

we are closing bookings for the Belfry event next Tuesday so this is your last chance to get involved should you wish to and have not already done so

I am there for the 2 days so starting to research decent pubs and food in the area.

On a slightly different tangent. Some were thinking of taking the other halves to use the spa facilities whilst we all go and enjoy ourselves. The only extra cost being for the use of the Spa, food and drinks for the ladies.

Mrs HH and I are making a bit of a time-out of it away from the kids for the first time in almost 3 years.

I don't know how many others were considering the same thing?

At least if she's there I might not drink quite so much in the evening.

Just the one day Hapless....It was the Brabazon that interested me. I was worried about doing the 2 day stint, getting ratted on the Tuesday night, then no being able to play on the Wednesday. So it's a flyer for me.

My wife may well join me on the Tuesday night and then Spa on the Wednesday.

As far as the Tuesday night is concerned, at the moment I am looking to head for either Lichfield or Sutton Coldfield I suspect.

If there is enough interest, I work nearby so would be willing to try and sort some transport etc.

There is absolutely nothing in the area in the way of drinking/eating apart from the one place we got taken to by taxi which is about 10 mins away, I believe its called The Cock Inn and I can highly recommend the food there.

Its not cheap, but the food was out of this world.

Failing that you can always stay on site and pay £5 a pint in Bel-Air which is the on-site nightclub!!!

GB72, I'm for that, £5 a pint doesn't grab me but would at least guarantee that we were in fit state for Wednesday.
