Glad you enjoyed it Ian and Ross - the day was lovely, the course was looking good, the sun was out and the golf......enough said! Played again today today with Gordon and 2 friends and it was probably an even nicer day - really good sunshine, the greens a touch quicker but still friendly (next week they won't be) and I played my best game ever off the blacks - 3 over on the front with a 3 stab bogey on 9! Back 9 got some revenge after a notorious halfway house break - knocked one out on 10 but pared with provisional for a double, lost the drive again on 11 - didn't play another, but got 4 pars and 3 bogeys on the other 7 (I think that translates into 38) - very happy with the scoring and most of the play bar still poor wedge play. Rich is up on Saturday for a big comp so hopefully I can keep some momentum from today and he can play like he did the other week (level front 9 from memory
