Bargain or not????

This club is being shipped with USPS (US equivalent of Royal Mail/Parcelfarce). It will therefore arrive at Coventry and be processed by Parcelfarce. This will take a week or so, compared to the 10 minutes taken by UPS. FedEx and others, and you will eventually get a note asking you to go online and pay the charges before the item is released.

I have done this many times and Parcelfarce have buggered it up in various incompetent ways on a high proportion of occasions. I therefore no longer buy stuff from the US if it is shipped by USPS. UPS/FedEx etc are much much faster and a great deal more efficient, and often not much more expensive. Edwin Watts, for example, does discounted UPS shipping for about $40 and you will get the stuff in a few days.

The club costs £88, shipping is about £30, so you will be asked to pay 20% VAT on that lot, around £23 or so, plus a handling charge of £12, for a total around £153.
