I've bought quite a lot from eBay over the years, but will always use my club pro for new golf gear provided he stocks the item or can order it and can get reasonably close to the online price. (He offers 'price match' where possible.)

Today, I saw the following: Ecco Biom Hybrid 2 Golf Shoes, white/orange **size 8 EU 42 which were listed by sub70golf at Burnley Golf Club.

At £99, they were a bargain. Trouble was, after I'd paid the 'Buy-it-Now' price, I got an email:

" Hi, there has been a complete mess up. I have gone to parcel these up and opened the box to find that they are size 42 in BROWN, somebody must have mixed them up. In size 42 we now only have Brown left. "

OK, I thought. Brown will be fine so I accepted the new item. I then received another email:

Hi, Its been a complete mess up. Just checked the Brown shoes and they are a 43 not 42.

They refunded my payment, but If you value your sanity, avoid 'sub70golf'.
