is there specific golf balls for swing speeds or is it more a feel factor?

Some are designed for certain speeds (Srixon tri-star from memory) but a lot of it is preference I know Srixon offer a ball fitting service at their Maidenhead fitting centre (think Mike H went)

Try the Bridgestone website they have a live chat box with a technician who will talk you thru the ball selection its pretty good but you need to be honest about it.

If I feel that I've hit it far enough then that ball is good enough for me, whatever it is.
So yes, "feel" does come into it.
