I can't either. the must be some 'feel' players on here, playing with 'buttery soft' forgings
Another fan of the Bridgestone but also prefer the Srixon Z Star Xv which also comes in much cheaper than the Pro V's

If you can't tell the difference, why pay through the nose for Titleist when you can get equivalent balls for a lot less money?
I don't....I'd also bet that most who bang on about the difference couldn't pick out a prov1 in a blind test

If I was blind I'd miss the ball so of course I couldn't![]()
unless your a good ball striker and a low h/c player your going to get no benefit from playing a high spin ball,if it was one ball fits all company's would just make one ball,if your doing an on-line test what do you think they will say,buy our cheap budget balls or you will be best with our most expensive premium ball, most high h/c players above 16 think using a prov1x will make their scores come down!!!! how many have a swing speed the speed of treacle on a cold day,as in a lot of things in golf it is vanity and snobbery, for the record i use what ever is in my bag from freebies to what i find but if i have to buy then i uses srixon z stars
actually Titleist recommended NXT Tour with Pro V 1X as alternative. .
Why would anyone follow an online fitting? It's just giving away your hard-earned money rather too easily.
If I look up a ball fitting from Bridgestone, I don't get recommended the ball I was suggested to use at a real (Bridgestone) fitting session.
If I do an online shaft fit, same story.
Cheap, marketing gimmick. Why pay £40+ for balls when you can get a perfectly good ball for £15 a dozen, maybe even £10.
The RRP for ProV1X is £50.... Good ball - yes!! Brilliant....
is it personnel choice or falling into the vain snobby camp, look at me i have the latest this that or the other club/driver,it goes the farthest and it has a shiny blue /red/white head, what's your h/c, oh it 26 !!!!!!! and the pro told me to use these prov1 balls as they are the best etc etc etc, what would be your first impression of someone you have never played with turning up with a set of dunlop clubs and pinnacle gold balls, then beating you 6&5,buy what is best for your game not what just the posers stuff. You could argue the same with clubs.
Why pay £250+ for the latest and greatest driver when you can get a 'lesser' brand for £££ less.
Personal choice.
I don't lose too many balls so I can justify the cost of the Pro V1x, if I was spraying them about then of probably use Pinnacles![]()

Cheap, marketing gimmick. You get sucked into buying £25 balls when £12.50 balls will be just as good.
