Shot maker for me.I want to be remembered for moments of pure magic on the course, impossible shots that defy the odds.I can handle the odd stinker!

Ball striker for me, thinking along the lines that a shot maker such as bubba needs timing etc if its off he's in trouble. A more technical swing should be more reliable. In my mind this makes more sense.

Enjoying the replays.

Phil is a shot maker would you think? And for sure he is wild but he is usually up there. His shot making gets him out of his wildness. If that's the case then at the top level of the game at least the trade off can work!?

Still... Ball striking for me but I do agree with whoever said we need more shot makers in the game from a spectators point of view as beautiful as it is to see Lee, Justin or Luke strike the ball.

Phil is absolutely a shot maker, he has vision and touch, as well as the cajones to try the high risk shots.

I think people are taking the OP too literally, in that obviously a ball striker would have the ability to work the ball and get out trouble. But a shot maker is someone who has a vision and ambition to pull off very high risk shots, that involve a lot of feel as opposed to great technique.
