ball recomendations

I've got a load of the 330RXS to use whicj I haven't tried yet, but for a budget ball the Srixon trispeed would take a lot of beating. Very impressive ball.

Prefer the AD333 over the trispeed but I seem to recall MikeH being tested by Srixon at their fitting centre at the range I use at Maidenhead Golf Centre and being recommended the Trispeed and that it helped both his driving and short game so there must be something in it. I just find it way too soft off the putter face.

isnt that called feel? :D
On the opposite end of the spectrum, I was playing with a guy, decent guy, but insists on using golf balls that click off every club he hits, never got clse enough to see exactly but are either hard titleists or ultras. Really disconcerting listening to a poker chip getting plinked at every shot.

Precept EV Spin, outstanding value for money £15 for 15. Double major winning golf ball in the 90's and recently been put back on sale after a long absence. Dont knock the ball until you try it.

Pro v1 in a different league than any others I've tried. I'm a massive fan of the srixon soft feel balls too but you loose the a bit of distance with them though.

Fully agree with this.

Even though I'm a high handicapper it doesn't mean I can't use the best ball out there,IMO. They go further, chip and pitch better and certainly putt better.

Also like the Srixon Z stars.

Golfmmad.

vote for the Srixon AD333's here.. Got myself some off the bay there 2 weeks ago and worked out about a pound a ball.. Played 3 rounds with the same ball now and its standing the test of time nicely.

Ok its no pro v or B330 but its hard wearing and soft enough so that you can get some check on it..
