ball at rest moved

Feel I should know this - but checking to be sure.

None of the balls discussed are on the green. Player A hits towards green and moves 2 balls, both of which were off the green.

I think Player A play his ball as it lies and both balls which were at rest are replaced.

I have seen tee shots where one ball has touched or collided with another. Never seen the ball at rest replaced. Hard to estimate where it was over 200 yards away, none the less looking for clarifiaction

You are correct.

Whilst it's tough from 200yds you have to make you best estimate - the only time you will get penalised is if you don't 'replace' it; if you know it was moved the one place that cannot be correct is where it currently lies!
