That‘s only 13 clubs so do have room for one more. Have both a 3 and 5 hybrid that could go in but don’t really see a need for either of them to be honest. Would like to try a driving/utility iron that could be an additional option off the tee ideally.

Attempts are being made to talk me into carrying 4 hybrids - 3h to 6h. Make my longest iron a 7i. I’m not there yet but heading that way. I can’t really think of a good reason to not go with it other than...just...I dunno...cos it seems a cop out to make the game easier...? But go figure..why the heck not make it easier...if indeed it would make things any easier...

I’m looking at getting a GW and LW but need to go and get fitted as my wedge gaps are reasonably consistent (the only part of my game!)

I’m also considering whether I need the 5w as I can hit my 4i a very similar distance more consistently. It was a Golf Depot early lockdown madness purchase so it found its way into my bag without any real testing!

Surely start with one, switch as required?

Set up as per the sig.
The rational is simple. I'm inconsistent with a 3 wood and can get sufficient distance from the 19 degree to cover most situations. The Ping Karsten is my get me out of trouble/going forward club. I like to carry 4 wedges because I'm not very good at hitting soft, half, feel shots so I try to cover the gaps with full shots. I hit the lob wedge 85 yards on a full shot so anything under that is either a 7 iron dink, or if there is a carry then a shank.

Different uses. I'm pretty consistent off the tee with driver and, unlike some I know, would not even try to use it off the fairway - ergo 3 wood.
That's fair enough. I thought maybe off the tee they'd be about the same though. Though maybe you're just like me and find the bigger face of the driver easier to tee off with. (y)

Driver 9 degrees
5 wood, 18 degrees, 39”+ long with a 64g shaft ... don’t ask it was an eBay punt and it’s MASSIVE
3H , recently returned
4H
5,6 HMB
7-PW MP20
all are graphite
Then 52,56,60 steel shaft SM6s ... the 60 is in peril because I watched the James Robinson video on opening up a 5 iron .. did it today and it was hilarious it makes a whomping noise out the bunkers .. so it’s called the whomper shot.

Considering new wedges as current set are pretty beat up and also tinkering with the gapping, grinds and bounce.
