Due to play a friendly knock yesterday afternoon. Very pleasant, if cold day, but no rain and sunny.
Mid morning got a call from work, a problem resulting in me having to go in.
Midday my partner rings to inform me he'll pick me up. Told him I was in work but hoping to finish for our arranged tee time. Advised him to go up anyway and I'd meet him up there. Didn't happen did it?
Finally left work at half past 3, limited daylight left so drove straight home.

Woke this morning to frozen solid car, garden and golf course playing temp greens.

At least I got overtime rate on Saturday! ;)

Basher you just completely mirrored my weekend.....
I too was to play yesterday but work had other thoughts....I booked an 11:20 tee time for this morning only to wake at 9 and see that the place was snow white and as im living in a city and our course is in the country you can well imagine my anger this morning. I rang the pro only to be told that the course will be closed for the day  .
Yet another victory for the weather.
When will i get to play? its been 6 weeks going on 7.

I feel your pain Kid2.

Having to make do with the odd venture to the range but not a good substitute for the course. Still, getting to have a swing. Just can't wait to get cracking.

Never mind, the nights are getting longer! :)

I played 5 holes tonight at 4pm. Its surely but very slowly getting lighter at nights now.
