Homer, Ive just read this in your local paper

ASCOT GAZETTE

Members are amazed at the freak weather that has
struck Royal Ascot G.C. in the last 24 hours.
Overnigt, Hurricane Homer struck wrecking the
clubhouse

By mid morning, floods were washing out all the fairways

As if that wasn't enough, by lunchtime the once thought dormant volcano on the 4th, spewed its deathly lava down the fairway causing death and destruction to all within a 10 mile radius.

Luckily, by tee time, snow had fallen to cool the lava and some play was permitted.

By the evening another storm brews over the horizon

Forecasters are predicting 200 mph winds, more snow, lava and rain for the next 11 days, but the course should be open and back to normal by Sept 6th :D

Artist's impression of the new clubhouse to be built by next week

All the best fella. A speedy recovery is needed to get you back out on the practise green. HTL wants some prizes from invitation day!
