"If it seems to good to be true then it's probably..........." etc. etc.

So, I've been price watching a TM Jetspeed 4 hybrid for a while.
My Pro will match any online price and I make all my major purchase through him.
He has it at £129 but knows it can be got for £119 and I have a £60 prize voucher.

So I did a last random check and saw an eBay offer.
A golf pro at a reputable club offering his last display model - display meaning never used, just displayed - at £69.99 + £12.50 courier fee.
I couldn't ask my Pro to match that so I took a punt - eBay and PayPal combined.
It arrived within 48 hours and is pristine.
Strangely, the supplier on the delivery package label is "Foremost" with whom my Pro is affiliated.
Whatever sticky label was applied has been removed.

Any thoughts out there?

Is he possibly using an old delivery box from when Foremost sent him some stuff ?

If he is a pro he would be treading very dangerous ground selling non authentic TM stuff surely ?

probably fake, I'll give you 30 quid for it as with my ability it doesnt matter if its legit or not ;)

in seriousness its probs just fine as others have already stated

Thanks for replies.
I checked the club website and the Pro's personal website and it all seemed legit.
I'm happy with what I've received but baffled at the huge markdown.

Jetspeed is being phased out and replaced with SLDR S so maybe he was just getting shot of his last bit of Jetspeed stock.
Great deal for you.

Easy way to tell is to....

Hit the club on the course if it goes right or left then its a fake! Originals go dead straight.... I have a bag full of fake clubs!

Sldr s is not the replacement for jet speed. Jet speed is still current and is being replaced in November

Display model = used/2nd hand.

Not unusal for this type of stuff to be knocked out cheap.

I'm sure it's just a good deal, does it have a serial number, I recollect an earlier thread which indicated that you could look on line to check a clubs serial no, might be wrong the old memories getting a bit slack.

No serial number but neither has my driver or 3 wood bought from my Club Pro.

To the earlier poster TM launched JetSpeed after SLDR as a cheaper option.

Jet speed is not a cheaper option to the sldr. Its a different club completey in terms of launch and spin.
