Spotted something for you to look at.
If you look in this months Seve tribute GM mag there is a great statement on page 66 (middle row) which relates to your hip slide.
It says about how Seve had an "exaggerated lateral hip slide" which means "the player must have a tremendous whipping release of the wrists to present the clubface squarely to the ball".
"if your late, the ball flies way right, if too early, a wild pull hook results".
This was what I was saying in your swing thread.
So with your longer clubs you struggle to square the face up and push it right/fade it right and with your shorter clubs you pull them/draw them because you square the face too early.
