Played it with my work golf outing a month ago and enjoyed it. then my work got offered a fourball and auctioned it off on a silent bid - and I won it!

So me and the OMID, tattie scone and her man are going to have a lovely day (am waiting to pick my moment depending on the weather) hitting pyramids of ProV1 practice balls onto their practice greens, having lunch and finally a round in the sunshine!

Happy days! ;)

When does summer begin?!

Has nobody told you?? Cancelled this year due to lack of interest

Maybe you'll get one of those nice clear warm winter days sometime in July though :)

At least we arent getting stupid winds up here!
Archerfield is lovely - its a very playable course - nothing is too long or too difficult. front 9 is treelined and quite tight, back 9 has more of a links feel.

I suppose if you're paying 50k to join then you want something that isnt too taxing!

if you ever get the chance - play it!

all i need is an invite to the renaissance now ;)

50K joining fee? Errrrm, yeah. Might have to play as a guest sometime!
oh - you can get that back if you leave...its not a joining fee as such - its a bond or something - but if there is no market to sell it on then you're a bit stuffed!

it might be 20k for archerfield and 50k for renaissance...whatever it is - its way too rich for me! ;)

Will have to "Settle" for Archerfield.

Now, Im sure there was 50p behind the couch....£19, 999.50 to go!
look after the pennies...I'll just have to continue to settle for work golf outings! If i win the lottery tho - i'll send you an invite ;)
