So, I ordered myself a series 2 Apple Watch there, hoping to get in a week or so, but looking to use it for fitness tracking, and to compliment my range finder on the course. Any good apps out there now that you guys know of? Thanks

Not sure what is available yet. The original apple watch did not have a GPS so unless the phone apps work there may be a bit of time before the apps are all up and running

Thanks GB was hoping that with the new one having GPs there maybe a few ready to go hopefully a good yardage finder type, front middle and back will suffice haha

Hole 19 is a decent app and now the watch has GPS it'll actually be worthwhile

Pretty sure the heart rate monitor makes it illegal for competition use, however, if this feature can be disabled (like the slope settings can be disabled on some rangefinders) it would make it a legal device.

Just checked and it can be switched off on the original apple watch so suspect it can be on the new one

game golf works well with the apple watch. Saves all the faff of wearing a box on you belt!

Funny I wondered why the heart rate app thing would be an issue too!

If you link the watch to your iphone via bluetooth then no tags required. I used the pebble watch with game golf and its brilliant
