I know Apple TV got a few mentions in the “what are you watching“ thread but a question or three for those of you watching it. My hbo subscription is due renewal, and isn’t expensive at €8.99 a month but do I try another supplier.

A question; I’ve just downloadEd the Apple app and seen there’s a fair bit of content. However, somethings have a price next to them. Once you’ve paid the monthly fee, €6.99, is everything free or do some programmes/films incur an extra charge? Also, it doesn’t seem clear to me whether some films are to rent, some to buy and some free to access.

Why oh why can’t it be simple like Netflix & Hbo?

All pointers/info very welcome… cheers.

I got a free six month trial.
I will be cancelling, not enough on there for my tastes to justify £6.99/month.
In 6 months I think I have watched just two films and 2 series.

In terms of what you pay for and what you do not I presume it is a bit like other networks the newly released stuff is extra until it says not Amazon and Sky make it very clear.

Bizarre. I could cancel my 6 month trial just by logging in, then going to the subscription bit of Settings, then pressing cancel?
