Anyone played Stapleford Park in Leics ?

I’m playing at Stapleford Park in Leicestershire tomorrow morning.

Haven’t played there before and I don’t know anything about the course/club.

Has anyone played there or know any good or bad points about it ?

Played it a few times mainly in the summer and it’s always been in good condition with decent greens, I don’t think it’s a great winter course.

I quite like it, 1st hole is a bit average but some good holes on it.

Played it earlier this year. It was quite long and the rough is quite long once you miss the fairway. It’s heathland in style. Not particularly memorable, but a decent course all the same

Entrance and clubhouse welcome has been good. The greens look frozen and bouncy though. Gonna be fun.
