I have been an idiot and not changed my spikes in one of may pairs of shoes for too long. They holes where you put the remover in have worn down and when I try to turn it, it just cuts through what little there is left of the rubber. They are Fast Twist Soft Spikes in a pair of Footjoy LTs.

I really like this pair of shoes so does anyone have any tried and tested methods of getting well worn spikes out.

I can't speak for soft spikes, but with steel ones, I'd often get a hacksaw and saw a groove to then use a flat headed screwdriver.
Might work??

carefully!

over-torqueing when trying to extract can pull the whole unit out of the sole, they are only fixed by four or five 'rubber' welds. (I had this happen to my Softjoys but as usual, no receipt!)

even though these are 'plastic' treat as if rusted. clean thoroughly, a little lubrication (3-in-1 or WD-40) and take your time.
