anyone had a problem with american golf price match promise

AG @ Peterborough price matched clubhouse golf on all the mizzy kit in my bag when I purchased it all at the same time. They even still honoured the in store offers they had on the stuff. Ended up getting over £350 off the full ticket price.

My local one at Sunderland have always been great... Only once I seem to recall was there any issues but I got my own way in the end and the chap being awkward soon moved on to the Metrocentre store which improved the store even more

On line is pretty simple and straightforward too, I know they stopped and not too sure if they've started up their click and collect thingy again but I enjoyed using that... come to think of it, I've spent more than I care to recall with their price match in one way or another

Found my nearest two to be very hit and miss.

Refused point blank to price match on a Vokey wedge (£20 cheaper elsewhere, was in stock and the exact same item). Similarly they refused to price match on a bag I wanted as they were in the middle of a 20% off promotion and couldn't reduce the price further. They also refused to price match on the G25's I bought earlier in the year as I wanted 5-PW and they could only sell me 5-SW apparently.

I think they price matched me on my Odyssey putter though with very little persuasion.

I think think you've been unlucky Iain, my local branch (Irvine) up in Ayrshire are great at PM, they matched a set of G25 irons and matched my powerbug trolley, looks like it's up to individual stores, thank goodness i use the Irvine branch.

They price matched some Adizero Tours for me before. Aside from the guy in the shop implying that I was a liar for saying that I found them cheaper elsewhere, once checked there were no issues!
