Anyone been to Lisbon?

And if so what is it like and were's the best part to stay in?

Thinking of having a 3/4 night stop here in mid August before heading onto to central Spain. Always fancied Lisbon so looking for any tips etc......

Yes, Cascais or Estoril are good bases for golf and for Lisbon. Nice Casino at Estoril, with very nice dancing girls. Would like to go back as it was over 20 years that i went, but doubt it has changed much apart from more golf courses.

I've been there to watch everton but I can't remember much of it as I was hammered for the 3 days I was there

Stay in Cascais. Lots of nice hotels and one of Portugals nicest resorts. I go there on business and found its cheaper to book a golf break than just book a hotel

Cascais is great. I am playing golf there in April. Great nights out and excellent courses.

Way back in 1967 dont remember much about it though.
Everyone spoke a Spanish like manuel.
