Hi guys,I have been falling out of love with my hybrids recently, after a bad run of form, but my iron striking is better than ever thank goodness! I was thinking of trying out a cheap 3 iron to get a little more distance when needed (I am currently using only irons when possible until my long game gets better),but as these clubs are apparently hard to hit,I have been thinking about a Mizuno Fli-Hi iron replacement instead.Do any of you good folk use one? And if so are they any good/easy to hit? Cheers!

I've got an 18* (2 iron) really love it but it can sometimes balloon up a little. Very easy to hit though, great off the tee for short or medium par 4's

I had the MP Fli-HI 2 and 3 iron.

I thought they were excellent clubs but I couldn't get over the chunky look of them.

They are very good clubs though.

I have the 3 iron (21*) version and would not be without it. Easier to hit & control than a hybrid and does not balloon the ball like hybrids.

In other words it's a yes!

I have the 2, 3 and 4.

Currently only have the 3 in the bag, but will put the 2 back in when the fairways get firm and bouncy at my place in the summer (if we have one!)

Really like them and can't see me dropping the 3 for the foreseeable future.

One of their biggest benefits I find is that they're much easier to turn over than any hybrid I've ever tried, so ideal when you're after a bit of extra yardage or want to get one chasing along a bit more...

Cheers Jezz,more good news!

I've got a 21* which works nicely for me. I wouldn't say it's any easier or any harder to hit than my hybrid though.

I do find it much easier to hit low shots with it compared to my hybrid. But my hybrid doesn't balloon because the shaft suits me.
