just a quick question do any of the courses your a mamber of have any trouble with rabbits as i am into vermin control and would be happy to do it free of charge i live in leeds west yorkshire and would be willing to travel in any direction withing an hour

i am starting to get into the trapping side of things now but im afraid the time and effort that goes into trapping that has to be charged for

Beggsy, give Calverley a tinkle, they have a big problem on the new back nine, there are loads of the buggers. They may welcome you with open arms.

and for your little understanding of the matter rabbits are classed as pests thay can and will ruin a golf course and unless kept in order

Beggsy

I am a member up at Stonehaven GC in Aberdeenshire and we are plagued by rabbits, they are ruining certain areas of the course and are seriously damaging some of the faces of bunkers and tees, . I know that its a bit more than an hour away from you, but Im sure if you contacted them any advice would be gratefully received.

Problem = rabbits
Cure = shot gun

Simples! :o

no, .22 and a torch. spotlighting doesn't interfere with the golf.
Shotgun, one shot and no more rabbits will be seen for ages. .22 LR subsonic with silencer is OK if there is no public access and you need a backstop. Best answer is gassing burrows and ongoing maintenance. Trust me, we've spent over a year trying to get rid of the pesky blighters!
