Any nice golf courses in New York, US

Long Island has an immense amount of world class courses. Bethpage has other courses than the Black. It's a municipal and caters for all calibers hof golfer. You won't struggle to find good golf courses but you might struggle to get on a few if they are private but the yanks love a limey and will usually sign you on to show the place off a bit.

Depending on where you are based and whether you have transport of your own, there is a great course in Danbury, CT called Richter Park GC. When I lived in Danbury in the late 80's it was rated in the top 25 in the US by one of the golf magazines. Another good course in the area is Ridgefield GC.

Danbury/Ridgefield are about 60 miles north of the city.
