Any club demos at The Open

Off to Turnberry on Thursday, seriously cannot wait !! First visit to a pro tournament.

Will there be any of the manufacturers displaying / demo etc ? Can't find any info, just wondering whether to bury the credit card in the garden

I would imagine that every major club manufacturer will have their demo trucks at the event.

Step away from the credit card....leave the credit card alone!!! lol

I think I am right in saying the tented village aint what it was say 3 years back.....not the same amount of gear on show or for sale and I think it is mainly Open gear that is for sale and gone are the days of all the main manufacturers having all the gear on show.Maybe one of the GM team can confirm or otherwise advise on this....

Wasn't much at Birkdale as I remember and to be honest would a crowed golf tournament be the best place to make a buying decision?

Go watch some pro's smack it miles hopefully in bright sunshine for you (then evil wind and rain Sunday sorry to anyone going ).

Have a beer, some overpriced fish and chips and enjoy the day out.

Dodgers right you can buy some lovely Open merchandise at no way inflated prices!

Lack of space in the tented village and also events such as the Scottish golf show and the one they have at the o2 where the big manufacturers have plenty of room have made it a wate of time. Stay out on h
the course and enjoy the golf

The R&A wanted to much money from the companies so they have more Demo days round the country as well as the golf shows.
