Does anyone have any ideas that could change the world? Golf or non golf, serious or not so serious :)
I thought I had a great idea about fitting a sound track of a burning fire to those imitation log fires.
Then went into B&Q and found out someone had already done it :(
Anyone else?

I'd love someone to perfect the art of wireless electricity !!!

I have this image of mains wires hidden in skirting boards/walls and all you have to do is have the appliance/hi-fi/TV pushed close to the wall for it to operate . Imagine a house completely deviod of wires/cables and having the ability to move/place electrical items anywhere in a house without worrying about plug sockets.

Inductive electricity would be well worth the wait !!

Ok I'll get onto it right away.
Dont you like changing plugs on things.....all those screws 12 times you have to screw or unscrew to change one plug

I've got two in mind. The first would automatically switch the telly to another channel as soon as the ads came on and switch back when they finished.
My other idea is a device which deflects sound waves. I thought about this in the Gulf when the din from the mosque woke me every f****** morning before dawn.

You need Bose noise cancelling headphones.

Wireless electric is coming, slowly, but once the tabloids get hold of it, it be a/ fantastic, and b/ cancer forming.

Ive had two ideas spirited away from me in the past that made someone lots of money, I am reluctant to publish anything currently bubbling away in the pot on here.

The big obstacle to inventors these days is the Patent system. You need at least £10K to get through it, and it can take years.

I have one Patent to my name. It was something I invented when I was in the RAF and the Air Ministry later paid me to sign over the rights to it. I wouldn't have been able to do anything with it myself, so I agreed.

How about a mute button on the remote control for HID when the golf is on? :D :D :D
Just kidding Jan

Here you go Bob !!!

Played with a guy this morning for the first time, and he asked if any of our wives played. My mate replied, "no, but you'd think she would be good - after all that ironing her forearms are really strong..."

I've designed a few gadgets (non-golf) but don't think I could afford the start-up costs.....similar to golf gadgets (i.e. learning tools) but at a niche market.
