After much deliberation and dithering ive just been fit for and ordered a 910 D2 with the Diamana kai'li shaft in stiff.

After trying most of the options this combo gave me the best stats.I can't remember the exact setting but the loft was reduced to 8.75 degrees.

Has anyone else got a similar set up, if so how are you finding it.

I should have the shiny new stick by this time next week :D

I've got the D3 with the same shaft, 9.5 degrees though and never moved it from A1.

Great drivers, if you've been fitted you should enjoy it!

Just bought a 910. The thing that amazes me is how long it goes compared to a 3 year old driver. Played my course for the first time since buying it last week. I was reaching parts of holes I've never got to before. Was truly befuddled how I was driving so much further.

I know Hawkeye was dabbling with a demo Titleist driver with mixed results over the front nine. I didn't see him after he finished so don't know if he's about the join the Titleist revolution

I changed the shaft from the Aldila RIP to the Diamana for the back 9 but I'm thinking I should have kept the aldila. I hit the Diamana well but I think the Aldila was longer and I gave up on it too early. I'll probably try it again on Saturday.

If I had the money I would certainly go for a proper fitting and comparison with my R9 as the 910 D2 is one heck of a club but it in fairness to my R9, the D2 will need to come up with some pretty special results for me to part with my hard earned cash.

910 rocks.

Aldila RIP, D3, 9.5 cranked to 11 degree. I sleep with mine.

Just one question though. DId you buy the D3 knowingly that it was low spin and with the mind to crank it upto 11 degrees? Or was it simply the smaller head?

genuine question btw. I only ask as I bought the D2 knowing that it would generate more spin with a lower loft.

That happened to be the optimum setting during my custom fit session. So far I've resisted the temptation to fart about with it, dropped it to 10.25 degree for a couple of weeks but its back at 11 degrees now.

I've got the D2 9.5 degree set in the neutral position. I had a stiff Kai'li shaft but I found it too weak so I swapped it for the Motore F3 70 in stiff and I'm killing it. Had a 288 yard carry (GPS confirmed) on Sunday with a 5mph wind behind me, hit the upslope and stopped dead.

All in all I think they are great drivers much more forgiving than the i15 I had previously.

Mate everyones swing and connection is unique to them, I know a few people with this driver and everyone has a different setup.

I have a 910 D3 10.5 cranked up to 11.25 and will move it 12 or down to 9.75 dependent on conditions. Ive got the RIP 60 - really nice piece of kit.
