Another round another PB

Sorry have to post it on here as HID isn't listening!! after my PB in the week i was fearing the worst for today, especially as my best mate texts asking if he can join me. I love playing with him but i always play pants as he likes to play at a pace that is too fast for my game. so today it was on my terms and told him to slow it down. The driver didnt let me down again and once again only missed 3 fairways, hit 3 birdies 2 of which were back to back! so hit 97 and 40 points and all this with a ten on the 4th (par 5) and an 8 on the 14th (par 4). Pitching was much improved after my practice session on thursday! putting still can be improved and still left plenty of shots out there!!

After hitting a beauty of a drive on 17th leaving myself only 40 yards to the green, my friend says i wont be able to get within his ball, que the best pitch shot ive ever hit!! 12 inches left to the hole!! he walks away laughing!!

Well thanks for letting me blow my trumpet, i'm over the moon today and no one else is willing to listen!!

Cheers guys two pb's in one week! It makes up for all the horror rounds this year! My ball striking has improved so much. My mate plays off 12 and managed to keep up with him all the way round. So happy right now.

All good stuff, well done. You need to sort out how you're running up the high numbers and work on that. Then your HC will come down fast.

Well the ten came as I topped second shot into the ditch, penalty. My then fifth shot found its way into the nastiest bunch on trees/hedge. Another penalty as in playable. 7th chipped on then 3 putted! I just had to laugh it off really. The seven on my last hole a short par 3!!! Was just pressure, I knew had good round going and hadn't looked at the score on the back nine, I was also tied on stableford point with my mate. Cue sh***ed tee shot, topped second and third into the bunker! Just lost use of my body!! If I just took 3 shots off each hole it would put me to 91!! So pleased with round but still know I left so much out there!
