my first ever 5 pointer.

SI 4 par 3, 200 yards off the yellows. Hit a pearler of a 3 wood to 6 foot and rolled the putt in. I get 2 shots on that hole, so a net 0 and 5 points.

I'm off 24, it's Stroke index 4. It's a tough par 3, long, with plenty hazards including water.

Thing is though, with two shots, why are you going for the green off the tee?

Isn't two safe points better than a bucket of blobs and a coulple of 5 pointers?

How do you normally play it and normally score?

It's a good hole for me. I normally go for the green with my 3 wood, and get 3 or 4 points pretty often. The water is down one side, I try to aim the other way, and if I end up in one of the greenside bunkers, it's not a disaster as my bunker play is normally not too bad.

3 of our par threes are stroke indexes 3,5 and 7. So a lot of players get 2 shots on them.
