Well as many of you know I had a session with my coach to look at my Scotty and the original intention was to adjust the lie angle and look at the length. However, during the session it became clear that the putter was best left alone and a different style neck was required.

So my Scotty is now in the For Sale section http://forums.golf-monthly.co.uk/sh...cotty-Cameron-Newport-2-7&p=871126#post871126 and I am now the proud owner of a PING Scottsdale TR Anser 2. I've got the adjustable length model as my coach recommended 36" and four degrees flat. I've got a board competition tomorrow so that will be it's first proper outing but very pleased with the quality of the new flatstick. Will whack up a review soon but for now here are a couple of pictures...

Hi Tiger, I had the older version and loved it but on occasion I felt the ball come off the non insert part, maybe the new version has been changed

I really wanted to keep it but found my Rossie more consistent for me

Amazed you need 36" do you have short arms ?

Looks nice! How is it adjustable?

The length is adjustable so it can range from 31 to 38 inches. Deke you're right the Scotty is gorgeous but it's just not right for my eye as I tend to set up slightly open. It's a bit like saying Titleist MBs are stunning but I play AP1s because they get the job done.

Wolfman I'm nearly 6'4" but it was just how I felt comfortable when I was fitted. You're given a putter with a hinge in the head and an extendable shaft. You then get over a ball and positiin yourself how you feel comfortable and they tighten the screws. My results were 36" and 4 degrees flat. Just felt right...

Fragger has the Grayhawk TR - looks good and feels good too
Can't stand the "cricketbat" grip mind......

Roll 'em home Tiger!

Fair point sir! May she bring you holed putts! :D

Just read this thread and then thought this putter looks familiar. The advertising either side of the thread have the same putter.
