The comp I found on moneysavingexpert.com website after some random Google search, the question was: -

Shotmiser was recently used in the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship but who won the sudden death play-off in the Alfred Dunhill Links Championships 2008?

Answer (obvious) = Robert Karlsson

Are these things easy to use? Do users generally have a couple of practice rounds with them or does taking them to the range help? I spoke to them and they are putting my municipal on it +5 credits for courses, but as Beaker said I am just about confident witht he TV remote control!!

Not sure how easy it is to use. It wasn't a brand I looked at but I think there is a small review in the latest Golf World. At then end of the day it is free and if you don't like it flog it and get an SC2.5

Well done Parmo!
I know how you feel having recently won a G10 driver my first thought was that the e-mail was a scam. But don't it feel good when you find it's genuine!
Hope you like it :D

Once again thanks fellas, I spent most of last night watching the YouTube instructions on it lol just hope I get used to it quite quickly as not to spend half the round messing on with it, I think I shall turn the GPS off at home and practice with it on the sofa lol.

Thats what I did Parmo, just used it for an hour at home and it helped! Did they give you 5 course credits or £5? Good of them to do that either way?!

The review in golf world of GPS devices is good and i think the top 3 seem to be sky caddie, shotmiser and caddy aid?

Does anyone have a bushnell or caddy aid? I always think the Bushnells look quite good?!

Golf World seem to think that although the unit is good it can be a little fiddly to use as its a touch screen PDA type thing.

Still, as Homer said, if you don't get on with it then its a nice little earner to put cash towards one you want.
