American golf......again!!!!!

After having left the Wilson staff fitting centre, I realise what a joke American golf are. A/g fitted me for irons, and we're so far off the mark it's scary.

The fitter was telling me how they sometimes fit people and then just send stock clubs from the warehouse with the right shafts.

Customer left Wilson staff fitting who A/g fitted as 0.5" longer shaft and 2 degree upright.....the clubs they actually sent were 0.5" shorter and 2degree flat!!

You would have to park that at Wilson`s door then, they are aware that maybe there biggest supplier in the UK are not doing there job properly. They dont deal with the problem but they do talk **** about it to customers.... Strange and not cool...

this sounds more like an error, the fact the clubs were customised shows its not just stock clubs sent. The delivery note would state the customisation delivered so I would say to AG who can check them and sort, which AG was it as the Clydebank/EK and giffnock ones all have very good staff

But dont American golf have massive stocks in their warehouses already? Surely the fault lies with American golf sending out any old rubbish. I understand Wilson should take more responsibility but the fact they offer a proper free fitting should cover that.

maybe I'm just sick of going in and listening to a lot of their staff talk nonsense, yes there are def some great guys who work within the company though.

and no, AG won't hold stock of a club to that specification; they would go broke very quickly waiting for the customer that wanted it....in fact I doubt Wilson do either!
