Amber Rudd - Not up to the Job of Home Secretary?

Just wanted to make sure on your position here....

Question: "Amber Rudd - not up to the hub of Home Secretary" Answer "no" , so you disagree with the statement I suppose.

I might have assumed you would be a "yes", she is "not up to the hub of Home Secretary". Everyday is a school day :D

Not all MPs - and that was years ago - 2009 to be precise.

I'm well aware that scandal was in 2009 thank you.

That was when Mps claimed the horrific total of £102,000,000 or about £156,000 each.
Thank goodness they sorted that out and the latest figures are down to £108,000,000 or £166,000 each, not counting their 20% pay rise since 2009

We'll gloss over last year's family payments scandal.

So if you know it was well in the past and that most of the worst-offending MPs are no longer MPs with many new MPs in the HoC since then - you'll know it's irrelevant to bring it up as evidence of all MPs being liars. I do not believe that they are.

Many of the 'lies' that MPs are accused of telling are in truth no worse than the little white lies that we ALL tell from time-to-time when it is expedient to do so, and when it is unlikely to hurt anyone else.

The 3 Amigo's are at the front of the queue I see, you could merge at least 3 or 4 political threads as the rhetoric within them all is the same.

I didn't, you did.

Isn't all lying a sin?
9th commandment I believe

Bit like the government & the opposition then; if they indulged in a bit less point scoring & a bit more work the country might run a little better.

Here here. Perhaps if some of their wasted energy baiting each other was invested in working in a common goal of making the UK as a whole and better in so many areas, then everyone's life would be that bit easier. And Fulham will win the CL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Firstly, doesn't that mean that there are some whopping great big lies in there as well..?
Secondly, if you lie then you are, by definition, a liar. The size of content is irrelevant.
Everybody lies, therefore all MPs are liars, therefore I concur with the Honourable Gentleman from Lincolnshire.
And the number of MPs forced to resign down the years for being liberal with the truth certainly implies that it's not an uncommon occurance.

Here here, put me down for a 3 😉
