So the misses has been messing about with this for a while now, I've kept out of it as I'm sick of trying to keep up with it all, and wanted to have a look at those sticks and Alexa. So after a chat in Currys, we bought the two. Well the fun we has setting the stick up. After a bit we gave up and managed to put some cartoon on for our grandson (7 yo) who was staying with us and went to make dinner. Within seconds he'd got the controller and had some how put on what he wanted to watch. How do they do this??????????

They make this extremely easy to operate. I believe 83 IQ or above is 90% of the US population so that is the general guideline to operate such things.

Looks like your grandson is above that IQ ;)

He most certainly is, the smart little so and so. Alexa was a doddle to set up. We had great fun last night asking her questions / getting her to play music, and this morning.
We're moving with the times!!!!!! Oh and the Firestick thing is much easier to use using the voice command. That's soooooo cool.

you can ask alexa to tell you jokes, sing songs etc too. keeps my 8yr old amused for a while.

Barely scratched the surface of my Alexa's capabilities...

Mostly listen to radio on it but do use it for news/weather/travel updates...

Grandsons do use it for games/brain teasers which can be great fun listening in to them doing so...
