Amazon music with Prime and the like

To Bunkermagnet and all you other chappiies on this line...You've mentioned about converting files to MP3 format. This is something I'm trying to do but cannot find a safe(no bugs or nasty messages flashing up like you're computer is infected blah de blah de blah, please sign up to our solution or you will lose everything in 30 seconds sort of thing)Can anyone recommend a safe,FREE to use software package that I can download and use to try and convert YouTube files to my Philips MP3GoGear for when I go walkies.
Have tried 2Conv/Mp3YouTube/Converto/FYDLoadGut2Conv.exe and looked at some others but they want you to sign your life away and I'm wary of giving away too much info.As I've stated before, when it comes to the tech side I'm a bit of a an abacus man
Jimbo. P.S.have at least 60 albums lodonloadad on the P.C.from Spotify--but hoping to go Premium service next year, which would allow me to put straight onto a new MP3 Playerwhich I'm hoping MrsSanta may drop drop down the chimmey???!!!

I dont think Spotify premium allows you to download to generic MP3 players. You need to use a device which has the Spotify app which if you're walking will usually be a phone.

In short, amazon prime music allows you to download your playlist to your device which you can then listen to offline. we have it and its great!

Rooter...don't use Amazon prime music and know that I can't download from Spotify until I sign up to their Premium service(Jan/Feb).What I'm asking you guys is "if I install Audiograbber(as recco'd)will it allow me to go onto YouTube, find something I want, and convert it to MP3 format straight away for downloading onto my Philips GoGear68B player along with the possibility of putting onto another player(maybe not Philips)in the New Year?
Will also be considering Premium Spotify in the New Year as decent alternative(although I've been told that if you stop paying for Premium service then any files downloaded disappear into the ether?)

Yes once you no longer pay for Spotify premium then any files downloaded for offline use are no longer available. And yes I am sure that once you have used any program to convert from YouTube into MP3 then you will be able to load that MP3 onto any generic MP3 player.

Personally I'd go down the Spotify route as although the royalties artists get through it are not great, at least that's better than them not getting any if you are just ripping it all from YouTube. Also life is too short to me to have to rip stuff one by one from YouTube all the time when I can download and then listen to an album using Spotify in high quality in seconds.
