Am I the only one...?

Aye i've heard that before right enough but it's the only course close enough that I could get a regular round in.

I enquired about joining last season. Think they still have a stupid joining fee.

I also don't think drainage is the problem, it's the fact that the Clyde floods it more often than not in winter. My neighbours a member and said they lost 6 holes to flooding so were playing 12 holes for a few months.

Don't know what your travel arrangements are like but loads of courses round about within 20 minutes.

we managed to get in 10 holes on friday and i played better than i thought and only 2 greens off out of 18 due to work being done on them. but snow is forecast this weather is manure enough to get anyone an infraction better stop now

hope you get out soon, you are not alone!

ring around now for clubs many are currently offering deals with free months added ie join now pay 12 months subs apr -apr free golf jan feb mar.

Get yourself in a club asap, especially if they'll do a deal. That way you'll have made friends before getting out there.
