Admittedly, they are nice and when I hit one, it went better than my current clubs.

That said, I don't play enough to warrant spending the money and would rather invest in green fees or overseas golf than these (very nice) clubs.

In two or three years when they are in the used bargain bin of my mates shop, maybe then I will treat myself!

I actually changed my clubs last year specifically to give myself more chance. I wasn't doing the TM TP's justice with the way I was playing and felt I needed to go back to something easier to hit. I've not really had a chance to really get to grips with them in comps yet thanks to the frozen greens and snow. I'm working on some lessons too which means consistency is an issue right now but once we get the short game lesson sorted late Feb and the fixes imbedded I'm happy I've made the right call. I still want to give the I20's a bash though simply to see if they stack up against the I15's which I thought were great.

The sexiest irons on the market, and if i had £700 spare, they would be in the bag. No questions asked.

Think you should check out the Mizuno MP69's. I would never be able to hit them on the course, but I could cuddle up to them each night at home.

And the first duff shank snap hook would not only cause my swagger to explode but it would also prove that I'd just pissed £700 smackers straight up the wall.

While I'd no doubt feel the dogs dangles with them in my bag, I could no doubt find something close for around 300/350 and feel just as much of a knob shanking them and saving 300-400 smackers

A friend of mine I regularly play with has the cally razr forged, and yes, they are lovely, and small, and tidy, and shiny. Luckily he has rifle shafts in them, so I have not felt tempted to hit them. They are nice though. Not something I ever thought I would say about cally.

That said, I do not need new clubs. Well, not til my swing is sorted, when obviously nothing I currently own will be right for me.

I wonder what it is with golf that makes us always blame our sticks, and never blame ourselves.

Its often seen on here " putter isnt working so its being replaced "... why is it not working, it worked before when you purchased it.

The most recent situation is my irons, the other day i was getting a very ballooning flight, so my first thoughts are " are my irons correct for me",... on follows the option of non gi irons more a players iron, maybe stiffer shafts and so on etc.

what is it that makes us always think its our clubs that are wrong, when infact i dont doubt that 95% of faults would not be clubs, but are actually swing related.

I acknowledge that the balloon flight was no doubt something i have/was doing wrong, but has it stopped me looking at new sticks... has it feck!

We are most gullible to believe in the technology claims
