He's still got an outside chance of winning it if Lawrie and Quiros both mess up the last 2 and Luke birdies....

Wouldn't it be ironic if Luke won it and Rory finished outside the top 9.....

Bit disappointed with Westwood this week - thought he might do a bit better than he has. T29 with a 73 and a 74 isn't very good really......

It saddens me to say this but I don't think he will win spoty because I don't think the wider public will recognise his achievements, if a golfer is going to win it my money would be on McIlroy as he is more widely known

I agree. Fantastic season from Luke. I think Cavendish will win it but I'm voting for Donald!

Its relentless and he doesn’t looked fazed in any way. His fluid swing just never looks out of shape and how much better can he get. Would be great, now Tigers back, to see both of them coming down the stretch together in one of the majors.

The only problem i have with Luke is that i don't think he really cares if he never wins a major, 23 top 10's this year say he keeps trying to get as big a cheque as possible each week, he has been a top golfer for a long while now and i cannot remember him in contention coming down the stretch ever even this year in a major.
I just get the feeling other guys give up a bit at the weekend or they take more chances to try and get into contention to win where Luke just plods along and keeps trying to the end thats why he finishes in the top 10 each week.
Don't think he will ever win a Major.

He will always struggle in the majors as the crazy length of the major courses will put his driving under pressure the only weak part of his game, of all the English golfers i would like to see him win one the most, but they have all been talking a good game for the last 4/5 years but bar westwood at the PGA a couple of years ago none of them have come close. They all seem happy just raking in the dollars.

You really think the man who won more money worldwide ( excluding the FedEx cup) last year and again this year really cares about the money?

As Luke said today, it hurts when people who have never met him, never watched him practice, never seem how much work he puts in come out with comments like this.
