my partner is always commenting on my alignment, i seem to always aim left of the target and he sais this is the cause of my slice when using the driver. i think its because im swinging the club to fast to ensure the face is square at impact.
im saying this because with my irons im pretty happy with aim, its just with the longer clubs.
thoughts please.

I had the same problem with driver but I play a fade with my irons. Every drive I hit has a massive slice on it. I tried everything closing my stance and clubhead more but the slice got worse. It even got to the point where I left my driver in my bag altogether and used my 3wood. I then went for a lesson to be told that all I was doing wrong was trying to smash the ball 2 hard off the tee which ment I was way off my swing plane and the club head was 2open at impact which was causing the slice. Try slowing down your swing and let the club do the work and see how you get on.
