AG GM fitting tomorrow

Myself and a few other forum members were lucky enough to be selected for the American Golf fairway wood fitting experience that was kindly offered by Golf Monthly last week.

The big day is tomorrow and I'm really lookin forward to it. After falling out of love with the game at the end of last year I'm completely hooked again and practising at every given moment on my days off.

Fitting at 11am then probably a spot of lunch and watching the other forum lads get fitted then off for a game at Aylesbury Vale with Alex and Fundy.

I am sceptical about the AG fitting as in the past I have not had the best of experiences and it seems to be pot luck on who you get lumbered with, but since this is a more 'high profile' documented AG fitting I'm sure they will want to get it right.

Anyway enough of my joys of spring, I'll report back tomorrow or Thursday when I get a free minute and let everyone know how it goes.

I'm looking forward to the game after to put the club to the test but also importantly, meeting more fellow forumers and having a good round.

If I'm honest ive tried the 910F as a demo club from our pro shop and it was a really nice club so I'm looking forward to comparing that with what's on the market, mainly the R11.

So my dreamlist is the 910F or the R11 I suppose

Judging by the driver test in this months GM, they seem to be testing tje big brands so you could be lucky! Just watch the drive on the 6th - that was always my nemesis!!

Rick I'm afraid there's a chance I wont be coming back with a Nike club. It pains me to say so I'll whisper it "I've got my eyes on another brand of club today"

Carvery, Di Stewart doing the custom fit, Rory Mac making up the 4 ball and a date with Cameron Diaz afterwards...

So to answer your question Alex... No I don't think it could get better

I am on LOVE with this Fazer 3 wood the thing goes like 300 yards.... They are not as bad as you would think.


Na it was a great day and I will do a little write up when HID has fed me.... IF THAT EVER HAPPENS!!
