ag driver fitting - thank you gm!

Did you try the clubs with different shafts and settings, or was it just finding the best of the 3 set up how they already were?

It never got that far.....

The pro at the start said id hit them all to get a baseline then come back to the best 2 and tweak them to find the optimum set up.

However, it wasnt even close between any 2 and i was hitting long and straight with the titleist so didnt go any further with it.

Maybe one of the othr guys had a closer run thing and may be able to expsnd a bit more....

Actually, im doing them a disservice, tried a couple of shafts and lofts in the r11 and they were happy to get other combinations.

What a result for you 4 !! I thought I got a good deal with my D3 for £216 !!!

*shakes head*

A BIG up to Mike and the crew for organising these events and giving us the chance to feature like this, its fantastic.

My old man was the 3rd one on the test (but not good with forums, hence I'll report on his behalf!) - hes gone home very happy with a Ping G15. He rang me to list various metrics (smash factor, spin rates etc) - the only one I remember is that his shot dispersement was only 10 yards with it, hence it was the obvious winner for him. He's also in his 50s, so Ping is the logical choice...

He tried a few including the TM, a Nicklaus and a couple of others I forget (perhaps Cobra or Cleveland?). He's very impressed with the whole custom-fitting process in any case, and obviously very grateful to Mike and the GM team.

He did also say that the Nicklaus was a pretty decent club - I think it may have been longer than the Ping, but not quite as straight.

Now then - where can I get myself fitted for some Mizuno irons in the North West?
